The Pinellas Weavers Guild was formed in 1946 for the purpose of continuing the art of handweaving and other fiber arts, and preserving them for future generations. Currently meeting monthly from September through May, the Guild sponsors workshops during which nationally and internationally recognized instructors come to teach. Members also conduct mini-workshops to share their areas of expertise. In addition to handweaving, the Guild sponsors groups studying spinning, dyeing, bobbin lace, kumihimo and other related fields such as beadwork. The Calendar page contains the dates for upcoming meetings and events.
